Taster Sessions
Always wanted to try adventure sports but didn’t know where to start? We offer some fantastic instructor-led taster sessions, giving everyone a chance to try something new at an affordable price. Suitable for adults, family groups, and children aged 8+.
Pre-booking is essential for these sessions, which cost just £30 per person. Each session lasts an hour and a half.
Prefer a more individual approach? A private tuition is another great way to begin a new sport at a time to suit you. Prices start at £70 for 2 hours, including equipment.

Paddleboard Taster
You will quickly pick up the skills with our enthusiastic paddleboard instructors and in no time you will be gliding across the water, enjoying the lake from a different perspective. Ages 8+.

Pay to Play Sessions
These are quick have a go 1hr sessions. Instructors are on-hand to make sure you are safe but with less teaching involved compared to a taster session, allowing you to explore the activity at your own pace.

Archery - Book and Play
Embrace the historic sport of archery in an exciting taster session.
- Ages 6+ when accompanied by a paying adult, who will be taking part in the session.
- Ages 14+ can take part independently if the supervising adult stay's close and is easily found e.g The Coffee Deck.
- Age 16+ can shoot without guardianship.
